Wine Academy of India (WAI) was started by DCH India and supported by a group of wine enthusiasts to impart knowledge of wine in India by organising wine appreciation sessions and training courses by establishing relationships with the major players in the hospitality industry, Hotel and catering institutes, Wine clubs and individual wine lovers. Wine Academy of India promotes sensible and moderate Wine drinking and imparts knowledge of Wine in India.

Organise wine Appreciation and training sessions –

Wine Academy of India organises courses in wine appreciation and conduct seminars and sommelier sessions by bringing in experts from the wine world. WAI partners with international wine certification organisations offering basic, intermediate, diploma and advanced wine courses. WAI also provides Training & continuous evaluations for students of Hotel management & catering institutes to help their career growth.

Organise exchange program for students & professionals –

Wine Academy of India facilitates exchanges between institutes & universities in India and abroad offering wine related courses like viticulture and Enology. WAI organises exchange of students, trainees and teachers of wine schools worldwide. WAI also facilitates hotels & clubs to get interested students from sommelier schools for their training program.

Facilitate investments in wine related activities & wine consultancy –

Wine Academy of India facilitates investments in vineyards worldwide and also investments in fine wines as an alternative investment portfolio and provide all related services. Wine consultancy services will also be provided for the hospitality industry, importers, distributors and other interested individuals.

Events –

WAI Monthly events : Wine Academy of India organises monthly wine tasting events to promote the knowledge and appreciation of wines. Other events : WAI organises custom made events for corporate, clubs and individuals.
